The Self Project

I am apprehensive about the self project because I hate myself because I just really have no idea how to approach it. When I don't have an idea about something I don't get it into until I have to because I don't want to do anything halfway. When the deadline finally comes the final project is shoddier than it even had to be, because I didn't want to do a want poor job on the project. It's a frustrating paradox, the best solution to which would be not to do the project.
What's the second best solution?

An Old Favorite

my hard drive has been experiencing issues and I am dumb for not fixing it. This is one of the few pictures I could retrieve but I feel that it's pertinent because this is the one self-portrait I've taken that says something. For the self project I should figure out why this picture worked, which is going to be hard because the thing that produced this picture was randomly fiddling with photoshop

Portraits I've done

Lately I have been thinking about my total inability to take good portraits. Every time I attempt to do so for a project it turns into an attempt to get out of taking pictures for people. Instead I've gone for totally indistinct and it doesn't always work, but when it does I actually kind of really like it. I know I shouldn't feel proud of this picture (it's been blurred to the point of indistinguishability just to be presentable) but I weirdly do.

Background

I am doing something collage like for the literature project. I found that making a background for objects to be pasted on in the physical world was really hard, so I started mocking things up in photoshop. I eventually made this

A New Army Man Picture

Part of what I'm working on for my literature project.
Once in a great while I take a picture that I like. These are the brief moments that I don't wonder what I'm doing taking pictures. This is one of those. I like it. It makes me feel like I have something other than a pointless insane hobby.
It's a pretty okay picture of some silly toys is what I'm saying.
